If you’re coming over from Leslie’s at Feet Under My Table, welcome! Be sure to check the links at the bottom for the rest of the participants in the tour. 😊īefore I go any farther, let me welcome you to the annual Celebrate Christmas Home Tours, hosted by my friend Leen at Sand Dollar Lane.

It’s an easy and fast way to polish all of your silver. If you have any silver plated items to polish, you want to be sure to check out the video in my Instagram highlight entitled “Polish Silver”. I have bells from every year starting in 1976. I love the idea of sitting here, sipping cocoa with my love after we put the littles to bed. This is just a small portion of my collection of bells after their annual polishing session. I will probably pull the other one out and put it in here too. I have had these chairs for a few years now- one in my bedroom and one in the shed. I actually made them for the tree in my room last year, but they felt perfect out here this year. I added rolled up sheet music that I tied with ribbon I had in my stash. I think this color palette is so peaceful. Once I begin to pull out our Christmas decorations, all of the little voices in our home say, "Momma, can I help!?" They love to help me pull my trees together. Doesn't she look festive? I should probably add some cute Christmas chalkboard art to this board, but the kids love to draw on here, so I will probably just leave it for them. I added a little garland skirt to my vintage dress form. I wanted to still have a nod to the traditional Christmas colors in the rest of the house, so I incorporated those in the ribbons and gift wrap. I added the smallest pop of color with sprigs of blue berries and love the contrast. This tree has such a calming and peaceful feel. It is nice having them ready to go!įor the tree in this room, I wanted to keep it very subtle and understatedly elegant so I used mostly mercury glass and white glass ornaments. It isn't anything fancy, just some neutral wrapping papers, and ribbons I have collected over the years, set out on my workbench. I set up a little gift wrapping station as we typically use this room to hide and wrap presents during the Christmas season. This is the front window of our home and I just love how festive the tree makes our home look from the street. I haven't ever put a tree in my office before, but I have always wanted to.

I am so glad you are here!ĭecorating Christmas trees is one of my very favorite things to do. The little ones are being big helpers and I am loving the warm glow of lights at night. It is such a fun and magical time for us and we are having so much fun. We are still busy little bees over here, decorating our home for Christmas. In keeping with the traditional Christmas colors theme, little pops of red were added to the room with gift wrapping and ribbon. This flocked Christmas tree is effortlessly elegant, decorated in shades of white, clear, silver and a little bit of blue.
